Help us bring hope and healing

Since 1985, the Institute has offered the best in women's healthcare by looking for the root causes of gynecologic and reproductive symptoms and treating the underlying condition. It is all too common that women's health professionals in the mainstream medical community prescribe contraceptives as the first line of treatment and recommend in vitro fertilization without even investigating the underlying condition causing the pain and infertility. Such band-aid approaches do not provide proper diagnosis and treatment. In many cases, women and couples are left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and hopeless by the failure of these mainstream approaches to women's healthcare. The Pope Paul VI Institute gives hope and healing to those who are seeking effective, natural, and ethically sound women's healthcare.

Inspired by Pope Paul VI's encyclical Humanae Vitae, Dr. Hilgers and his team developed the Creighton Model FertilityCareTM System of fertility tracking which is unparalleled in the field of natural methods with its standardized observations that enable women to know how their cycles function and understand the way their bodies work. These observations also relay important information about the woman's health. From the Creighton Model, came the new women's health science of NaProTECHNOLOGY which works cooperatively with a woman's natural fertility cycle to effectively treat conditions such as premenstrual syndrome, postpartum depression, repeat miscarriage, and premature birth as well as hormonal dysfunction, endometriosis, polycystic ovaries, and other women's health conditions.

The Institute's international infrastructure includes our accredited Allied Health Education Programs that train Practitioners to teach women and couples the highly effective Creighton Model FertilityCareTM System and Medical Consultants to practice NaProTECHNOLOGY. The Institute is also home to the St. John Paul the Great Fellowship in medical and surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY where post-residency OBGYN doctors learn in-depth reproductive endocrinology.and specialized surgical techniques with near adhesion-free results. The Fellows take with them to their medical practice these exceptional methods that are superior in quality and do not compromise their ethics or that of their patients.Through these programs, the Institute serves the population by providing the training and support needed to make the Creighton Model FertilityCareTM System and NaProTECHNOLOGY available throughout the U.S. and all around the world.

Over the past 32 years, the Institute has remained committed to ensuring access to women's healthcare that provides superior life-giving treatment that adheres to God's design for human reproduction. Through our research, education, ethics, and services, the Institute extends to families across the country and around the world the true hope and healing provided by NaProTECHNOLOGY.
